WILMINGTON, MA (September 29, 2020) — OSRAM Sylvania Inc., a division of OSRAM Licht AG, and LUV Systems, Inc. today announced an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement under which OSRAM will supply low-wavelength ultraviolet (UVC) lamps and electronic components for LUV Systems’ air and surface disinfection product portfolio.

The agreement represents a key milestone in LUV Systems’ commercialization strategy, securing a reliable supply of critical UVC components from a global leader in lighting technology. This partnership strengthens the company’s supply chain at a time of global constraints on quartz glass and UVC lighting components and enables accelerated production scaling.

“Partnering with OSRAM significantly enhances our ability to execute on our manufacturing roadmap and bring products to market more rapidly,” said Neeraj Chaudhary, Business Analyst at LUV Systems. “Ensuring supply continuity is critical as we scale to meet increasing demand for effective air and surface disinfection solutions.”

LUV Systems’ product line is designed to address large and growing markets across healthcare, assisted living, residential, commercial, education, retail, entertainment, and transportation sectors. The company’s focus on affordability, safety, and effectiveness positions its solutions for broad adoption as organizations prioritize long-term investments in indoor air quality and infection control.

The OEM agreement aligns with LUV Systems’ broader product development roadmap, which has progressed from intellectual property development and laboratory validation—including real-world surface testing and UVC inactivation of pathogens—to demonstration prototype development. With supply chain partnerships now in place, the company is advancing toward full-scale commercialization.

In parallel, EP Consultants, the parent company of LUV Systems, has established non-disclosure agreements with manufacturing and distribution partners, including NeoTECH, supporting the development of scalable production and distribution capabilities.

LUV Systems’ product development strategy is built around three core value drivers:

  • Proven Effectiveness against a broad range of airborne and surface pathogens;
  • Engineered Safety for use in occupied environments, including around people and pets; and
  • Affordability to enable widespread adoption across consumer and commercial markets.

To further support performance and differentiation, LUV Systems has developed a proprietary dosing algorithm that correlates surface viral inactivation data with effective indoor air disinfection rates, enabling predictable and scalable performance across diverse applications.

With a strengthened supply chain and advancing product development, LUV Systems is positioning its technology platform for commercialization across large, diversified global markets.
